Destinations
Spain is my specialty, and the journey doesn't stop there. Here's where I'll take you.
Featured Cities
Where I know every street, every shortcut, and every place worth your time.
My Home Base Madrid
The capital that never sleeps and never disappoints. I live here, so I know it street by street: where to eat before the tourists wake up, which museums to visit on a Tuesday, and which rooftop bar has the best view of the skyline at sunset.
- Royal Palace & Plaza Mayor
- Prado & Reina Sofía museums
- Barrio de las Letras & La Latina
- Tapas culture done right
- Retiro Park & the Crystal Palace
Gaudí & the Sea Barcelona
Architecture unlike anything in the world, a Gothic Quarter that feels like a film set, and a Mediterranean coastline steps from the city center. Barcelona rewards slow, curious exploration, which is exactly how I'll build your time here.
- Sagrada Família & Park Güell
- Gothic Quarter & El Born
- La Boqueria & the food scene
- Barceloneta & the waterfront

More of Spain
Every corner of this country has something extraordinary.
And that's just the beginning. Spain has so much more to offer: the wine country of La Rioja, the surfer beaches of Tarifa, the Roman ruins of Mérida, the carnival of Tenerife, the cliffs of Ronda. Wherever you're drawn, I'll know it, or I'll find out everything worth knowing before you go.
Tell me where you want to go →Beyond Spain
The same obsessive planning, personal attention, and insider approach, applied anywhere you want to go.
Lisbon
A city of hills, vintage trams, and fado music drifting from open windows. The Alfama district, Belém Tower, pastéis de nata still warm from the oven, and a waterfront that stretches on forever.
Porto
Colorful azulejo facades tumbling down to the Douro River, port wine caves, the legendary Livraria Lello bookshop, and a food scene that's earning its own reputation.
Fátima
One of the most important Catholic pilgrimage sites in the world. A quick, easy escape from Lisbon. Serene, moving, and unlike anywhere else in Portugal.
Paris
The City of Light never loses its magic. The Eiffel Tower, Montmartre, hidden bistros, world-class museums, and that feeling that life is just better here.
Monaco
The world's most glamorous microstate. Grand Prix circuit, Monte Carlo Casino, superyachts, and Mediterranean views that stop you in your tracks.
Versailles
Just outside Paris, the Palace of Versailles is one of the most extraordinary royal residences on earth: gilded halls, the Hall of Mirrors, and gardens that seem to stretch forever.
Rome
The Colosseum, the Vatican, the Trevi Fountain, and then the real Rome: neighborhood trattorias, morning espresso at the bar, ancient ruins around every corner.
Florence
The birthplace of the Renaissance. The Uffizi, Michelangelo's David, rooftop views over terracotta rooftops, and the best bistecca in Italy.
Milan
Italy's fashion and design capital, with a Cathedral that will leave you speechless, a legendary aperitivo culture, and Da Vinci's Last Supper.
Venice
There is nowhere else like it on earth. Canals instead of streets, gondolas instead of taxis, and a beauty that makes you forget crowds exist.
Pisa
More than just the Leaning Tower. The Piazza dei Miracoli is genuinely stunning, and Pisa itself is a lively university city worth an afternoon.
Tuscany
Rolling hills, cypress trees, medieval hilltowns, Chianti vineyards, and farmhouse dinners that last three hours. The Italian dream, in landscape form.
Athens
The birthplace of democracy, home to the Acropolis and the Parthenon, and a city with a thriving food and nightlife scene most travelers completely miss.
Santorini
Iconic blue domes, dramatic caldera views, and sunsets that stop every conversation. Best experienced away from the crowds, which is exactly how I'll plan it.
Mykonos
Cosmopolitan and beautiful. Windmills, whitewashed lanes, world-class beaches, and a nightlife scene that doesn't get started until midnight.
Crete
Greece's largest island and one of its most diverse: Minoan palaces, gorge hikes, mountain villages, and beaches that rival anywhere in the Mediterranean.
Want Something Closer to Home?
Not every great trip requires a transatlantic flight. Some of the best escapes are just a few hours away.
Eagle Beach
Consistently ranked one of the best beaches in the world. Wide, white, calm, uncrowded, and the water is exactly the color it looks in photos.
Oranjestad
The colorful capital with Dutch colonial architecture, excellent restaurants, open-air markets, and a laid-back energy that's pure Caribbean.
Natural Pool & Arikok
A hidden natural pool carved into volcanic rock on the rugged northern coast. Worth the jeep ride, one of Aruba's best-kept secrets.
